5명으로 구성되어 있는 라이도헤드는 92년 첫싱글인 creep를 발매했지만 

우울하다 락밴드라기에는 겁쟁이다 라는 평가를 받으며 평가절하당했지만

93년 이스라엘을 시작이로 creep이 발송되고 인기를 얻기시작하였으며

이후 이열풍은 돌고돌아 결국 미국 모던록챠크2위를 기록하였으며

드문경우인 영국에서 재발매된이후 싱글차트7위를 기록하였습니다.

보컬인 톰요크는 얼굴 반쪽의 감각이 없는것으로 알려져있습니다.

이는 교통사고로 인한것입니다. 뭐 원래 표정도 무표정하기도 합니다만..
